XP v VISTA

Put the XP installation disc in drive, boot from the disc and when the setup asks you which partition to install XP to, select the Vista partition (usually C:\ ) and then format that partition.

This will delete the Vista partition and install XP in it's place.

i can not think of one reason to do that,i do notice that you have "vista basic",which is "xp" in discuise ,there was no point at all in upgrading xp to vista home basic, when vista home premium is availabe at so little differace costwise, but a whole lot better that xp and much more stable, ive never had a blue screen in 18 months of using h/p much better in every way to xp imho,:confused::confused::confused:
