Greetings,

I've been searching all over trying to fix this issue, i accidentally found this website. This is my problem:

My laptop always automatically power off by itself. Means that it won't have the shutdown interface but automatically power off. Like we close our power on a CPU. When i power on, it will power off by itself at startup, window progress bar and the window interface. Sometime it went well until i shutdown.

There are no blue screen.

I have done scandisk but seem like no bad sector.

This is my system:

Window Vista Home Premium 32bit
Intel Core 2 DUO P8400
NVIDIA 9300
4GB RAM

Thing is, when i blow my fan toward my laptop, it seem it can run well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are blowing the fan towards the laptop, any heat inside continues to stay inside. The fan needs to suck the warm air out of the laptop and replace it with cool air.

As for the shutting down, you may be overheating causing the computer to shut down to prevent damage.

Does this mean that the fan inside is damage?

So do i need to send to the manufacturer to repair the fan?

Do you mean you are blowing a fan at your computer or the fan built into your computer to dissapate heat?

If it is the internal fan it should be venting heat which you should feel exiting the lap top. I s this a new laptop?

I believe it sounds like you have a bad fan but without having your laptop in front of me it is impossible to know. If it is only 6 months old I would call tech services from your MFG and have them diagnois.
