i have an acer laptop aspire 5050 it has a system performance facility,one of the settings is graphics -desktop performance for windows aero the score ,after many updates, is always 2.3 i have for all other programmes 5.8 , 4.9 etc could anyone with similar problems tell me how to update this programme .many thanks .

Hello Wiff, and welcome to Vista Forums.
Your WEI score will always be the same as the lowest score for a category that you got. The only way to actually improve this is to upgrade the hardware for the category with the lowest score to something faster and more powerful.
Now if you just wanted to artificially raise it with no actual performance gain for just the fun of it, then you can use this tutorial below to do so.
