A google for imkxmb.dll did not give any results (which is suspicious).
Did you recently remove malware from your system? This could be the remnants of an incomplete removal.

Thanks usasma

I can't remember any malwhere recentley. what can I do about this.
One of my friend suggested doing a system restore. however when I come to to the restore it will only let me go back a day or so. I need to go back 2 weeks really I have clicked on the box to show posts older than a day however this makes no diffrence.

Also the messae only comes up on my account and not the others. Is this normal??

Is this DLL something I need to worry about or will it be ok i I just ignore the message?

What can I do?

Help me please

This error is stating that it can't find imkxmb.dll
If this is malware, then not finding it is a good thing (but irritating).

The error is easy enough to stop, but I'm worried about the cause of it.
Please perform one or two of the free online scans located in this post: Free Online Malware Scan(s) (originally posted 09Mar08) - Vox

Let us know the results. Once you're clean we can easily use a program like Autoruns to stop the irritating message.

I have tryed scanning with the protection that I have (AVG Free) and this says that the system is clean. I have recentley installed a new service pack from Microsoft and also removed a few worms form a EXTERNAL flash drive. I have contacted microsoft and they have said to do the following
Click Start type "msconfig.exe" in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER to start the System Configuration Utility.

Click On the Services tab, click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.
Click the Startup tab, and then click to select half of the check boxes in the Startup Item list.
Click OK, and then click Restart.
Restart the computer and than check if you still get the same problem or not.

This worked! it stopped the message from apereing. however it stopped all of the Security and the Sidebar from loading. the McAfee scan that was recomended did not work as it sayd that it had incounterd an error (on the page not in a pop out box)

The offending entry is one of the one's that you disabled with MSCONFIG.
Let us know what they are and we'll work on isolating the one that's causing this.

My Computer

here is the data that you requested, the programs that microsoft told me to deactivate.

Agree modem cell progress audio
Apple mobile device
ASDLR service
AVG Free8 Email scanner
AVG Free8 WatchDog
Bonjour service
Ixda_device
Toshiba Navi Support Service
Toshiba Optical Disc Drive Service
Ulead Burner Helper

Please help me

My Computer

Nothing obvious here. Try disabling them one-by-one with MSCONFIG until you find the one that causes the problem. Let us know which one it is and we'll either fix it or stop it from running (I suspect Agree modem cell progress audio, the ASDLR service or the Ixda_device)

My Computer

I have found the solution to this problem

I went to control panel
programs
change start-up programs

I then looked for the file path and found that it was Microsoft windows host process. I then disabled this and this stoped the message from been displayed

thanks you usasma anyway
