I am not sure when it happened but it appears I have lost one of my HD's, I can not even see it in the device manger. What is the best method for trouble shooting.

Oddly enough I rebooted and the drive and partition reappeared. I not sure what caused it to disappear, I have heard the sleep function can cause this to happen so I will let the system go to sleep and see if this is what happened.

Anyone got any other ideas of what else I should be looking at?

Cables and psu are connected and solid.

Well I just woke my system up from sleep and the drive and partition are still present. I would still like to know what my have caused my problem as I was planning to load Win 7 on this drive to look around.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
