Problems installing ram in vista premium 32 bit.

I just bought new ram modules, OCZ pc2 9200 DDR2.
And when i shutdown my computer, and installs the ram (2x2 gb modules)
The system Bsod, i dont even get the possibility of starting up in safe mode, cause the system hangs to. at the Bsod screen it says try push F8 to get start up menu and start up in safe mode, but since the sys hangs i cant.:sarc:
i had 2x2 gb before also, but they are only at 600mhz, wich are the reason that i want to change the modules, the system runs fine with the old 2x2gb modules, why cant i change to these new ones?
I found a patch that was made by microsoft, wich was made because 4gb ram and Bsod was a common problem i guess, but when i try to install that patch, it says that the update isent relevant for my system.
Any one having any ideas what i might do??

Did you look up the maximum frequency that the mainboard will run the RAM before you installed them? It really shouldnt make a difference but if you did happen to exceed the limits of the board...it may cause system hangs.

I looked up that type of RAM...do you know that its frequency is 1150 MHz? You are attempting to use RAM twice as high of frequency of your existing. You may be not able to use this RAM because its frequency is too high.

Just to check, in your BIOS...does it show that you have 4 GB RAM installed? If it doesnt...reconnect them and try again. If that works...I dont think the RAM would work.

i cant change any thing in bios, and yes the bios says there is 4gb installed, and i just tried to boot up with only one module, and that worked, so i guess the computer has no problems running the ram. But another important thing, i discribed the problem wrong before, cuz actually i dont Bsod, the computer just stops at a black screen saying windows cant start "A recent hardware or software change might be the cause", and then - "windows cant verify the driver signature", of this file or something like that, and i should press enter, and then f8 and Disable Driver Signature Enforcement.
But after i press enter the system reboots instead of move on to the windows start up menu.
But since i could start with one module, i think my system has no problem with the 1150mhz, but still it´s very weird that it dosent come up with the failure message at start with only one module insertet.
