| Vista Home Premium x32 | 'The User Profile Service service failed the logon' and forgotten password????? I have a Vista laptop and am having some major trouble. I received the 'The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded'. Its been like this for about a month and I have forgotten the laptop password (I have always used a fingerprint scanner so I forgot my password.) My questions now are how I do repair the computer and also restore the password? Any help would be greatfully appreciated as I am totally stuck  |

I was beginning to try this when my computer did a system restore. It took about 20 minutes and recovered itself? Cool. Thanks for your help. |
