Lower wattage Charger

hi guys. my laptop uses a 90 watts dell charger. lately it stopped working to im trying to get it replaced. in the mean time a friend burrowed me a spare one but it's 65 watts. when ever i use my laptop on power it moves really slow. is there anyway or any setting that cud be changed to allow my laptop to work normal with the 65 watts charger untill i get my 90 watts charger replaced?

Electrical conponants have a tolerance. Using a 65 watt charger is going to put them underpowerd. I would wait in my opinion until you get the replacement charger.

Your laptop need more power than is being supplied, this can put the charger under strain.

It also means the laptop is draining the batteries faster than the charger can charge them. You may have to leave the laptop off while it charges. Otherwise, as others have mentioned, the charger can fail.
