Computer freeze on any windows in maximum 5 minutes from startup

Hello.
I'm sorry if i didn't read all the threads and post my problem in a similar one, but i'm very frustrated.
I have this problem from the first day i started my computer. the problem is that it starts ok, goes in windows, and then in maximum 5 minutes it freezes. I have to reset the computer, and then it will go for another 30-40 minutes, when i get a blue screen, telling me something about hardware problems. then it restarts and works fine.

My config is:
CPU - intel core 2 duo E6550
MB - Gigabyte N650 SLI DS4
Video Card - BFG geforce 8800 GTS OC2
RAM - 2x 1GB DDR2 corsair cl 4
HDD - Seagate SATA 320GB
Power - BFG 800W

i've used CPUfan or something like that and temp is ok. plus, this only happens when i start my computer after being turned off for a long time. if i have it running and shut it down and then restart it again theres no problem.
oh, and one more thing i forgot to mention... when i shut down, the power supply does not turn off. i have to keep the power button pressed for a few second

Try memtest, it could be a RAM problem.

Yes, it's not a good idea to run a memtest under Windows

i've taken the test and the ram is ok. the thing is that after taking the test, the computer didnt freeze anymore, and i cant test to see if its gone for good, because i have to wait a long period of time after shuttng down the computer till restarting it to get the simptom.
