Hardware change=Gremlins

I got a new Q9400 on a used GA P35 DS4 rev2.0 everything booted up perfectly I was proud, even told my wife!
Then I realized The start menu links: Documents, Pictures and Music was dead they were there but didn´t do anything.
But Worst of all.......... my games!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What works is:
GTA 4, COD 4, MoH A. Which is alright,
but what does´nt work is:
Crysis, Crysis warhead, FarCry 2, Fallout 3.

Help me!
Please!

Re: Hardware change=Gremlins

Ok, sorry for taking your time. Problem solved, I am a noob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Somehow when I changed the hardware, mobo and processor, one of my hard drives changed name (assigned letter) with the dvd drive. I changed it back and voila presto, everything is back to normal.
