Re: Right click menu on a drive open option is not default

Hello Saurabhmal, and welcome to Vista Forums.

This may be able to help with this. Explore is the default option to open it in the same window. and Open is to open it in a seperate window.

Open a Folder in the Same or Separate New Window

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Right click menu on a drive open option is not default

Correct. Explore is the default to open the folder or drive in the same window. No need to worry about it. You can change it to where Open is the default if you like in the link above to have a drive or folder open in a separate window by default instead.
