I wanted to get rid of the text under my Desktop Icon so I used Alt 0160 to do it and made it invisible. It worked great but I later wanted to delete the folder and now it won't delete. Please help, I don't know what to do. Thanks!

Hello NYC, and welcome to Vista Forums.
You will need to rename the file back before you can delete it. OPTION TWO in the tutorial below may be able to help with renaming it back.

Dude, their is no more help needed. Your method was sweet and strait to the point! I had to use the one I used Alt 0160 instead of the Alt 225 you had listed and I had to use Method 2 and CMD, but I followed your directions, and worked the first time. You are a Master of the Force! Thanks!

its really helpful... i was in pain with that folder on ma desktop and it was like teasing me that i can't do anything and now with the help of command option i deleted it and feeling better....
