Vista - Can´t install Lexmark X2470 on Vista

Hi! I just bought a new Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium. For some reason, I am not able to install a x2470 Lexmark printer on my computer through USB. This is kind of weird because with Windows XP it was used to work fine. I already downloaded the soft from the Lexmark web site but the issue persists. I would be more than happy if anyone can post or send me information to my e-mail address about how to fix this issue...

well from the pic it looks like you are trying to install the software for the 2300 series. that would be an issue.

also do not plug in the printer to the usb port until the install tells you to.

try redownloading the software Lexmark - United States click on find drivers and downloads, make sure you select you language and than the operating system (vista), than download, make sure the old software is fully removed, reboot, and than tyr to install using the newly downloaded software,€

Yes, that is the cd installation that comes with the printer. I am gonna try to see what happens...
