Dear all,

I would really appreciate some help with a problem caused by utter stupidity on my part.

My parents just bought a new Dell laptop with Windows Vista 32bit and because they are getting on a bit, I'd offered to set it up to their liking. At one point, they commented on having to log on every time on start up, so I set about changing this.
To change it to an automatic login, I went to the start menu search and typed "netplwiz", getting me to the User Account Control. There I proceeded in my hurry to make them happy, rather than check the automatic login, to delete the only login on the computer. I then happily rebooted it, not realising my mistake until it restarted and asked for a password and then notifying me that no passwords had been found.... but that I still needed one.

The situation now is thus:
- The login page recognises the username, but not the correspondent password
- It recognises no other users
- It requires a password to log in
- No password recovery disk was made prior to my brainless actions

Is there anything that I can do to solve this? I cannot imagine it was that easy to delete the only admin account on the computer by mistake and shutting oneself out complete and irrevokeably...

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Kind regards,
Paaskonijn
