I've had this problem once already, on my fairly new laptop.
I made a thread here not too long ago, trying to fix it, but got so fed up that I just reboot it back to its factory settings, thinking this would fix the problem.
Unfortunately, the irritating problem has come back today.
It started right when I tried installing World of Warcraft and it froze its installation at 87%... then the old symptoms came right back!
The ones I thought I had gotten rid of for good!
I've been browing the internet, trying to see if anyone had an answer for this, and so far, I just find more like me, just as infuriated as I am!
Does anyone have an answer for this mess???
Edit: It only does this old symptoms thing, if I try to install WOW. Otherwise, it works as normal...
