| Windows vista home basic 32bit | Fault bucket 0xD1_VRF_epfwtdi+3e71, type 0 Hi all, I have Windows 32bit Vista Home Basic on a Compaq Presario V6000. I am usually getting the following error after an hour or so after the laptop is turned on. The screen simply goes black and no response after that. All i can do is to hard boot again. I got this description from the event viewer tool in vista. Fault bucket 0xD1_VRF_epfwtdi+3e71, type 0 Event Name: BlueScreen Response: Microsoft Windows Error Reporting Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: P2: P3: P4: P5: P6: P7: P8: P9: P10: Attached files: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini070309-01.dmp C:\Users\hello\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-65130-0.sysdata.xml C:\Users\hello\AppData\Local\Temp\WER63B1.tmp.version.txt These files may be available here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive\Report0afa1ffe Thank you for any help! |

| Vista Ultimate x64; Win 7 x64 and x32 | Re: Fault bucket 0xD1_VRF_epfwtdi+3e71, type 0 Please go to the C:\Windows\Minidump directory and zip up the contents of that folder. Then upload the .zip file in your next post. We'll have a look at the dmp files and will see if that gives us any information. Have you checked to ensure that the laptop fans are running? Have you blown out the vents with compressed air (don't us a vacuum or an air compressor - it'll damage the components)? Have you recently changed anything on the system? Do you recall anything unusual that stands out in your mind? |

I've taken a snap of the BSOD error, i'l post it. Nowadays after working in my pc for sometime the monitor goes black. It simply freezes off. And all i have to do is to shutdown the pc by pressing the power button for a couple of seconds (hard reboot) |

Uninstall the current copy on your system 3. Install the freshly downloaded copy, update it, and scan your system. If all goes well, this should fix your system - if not post back for some more stuff to try. |
