Hi all,
I'm sorry if this is a bit vague, but I keep getting rundll32 errors when I try to plug in various USB devices. It's not as if these devices are new to my laptop, I've used them before but it just doesn't seem to like some things, sometimes... It's really unpredictable, sometimes a scanner will work, other times it won't ect...
I don't have any error codes or anything right now, I'll haveto induce another error to get that, but it seems to be ok again at the moment...
Something that might be linked to this is that I'm unable to right click on some .exe's and shortcuts ect. Upon doing this, I'm faced with explorer crashing and restarting.
Might these problems be linked to a virus? I'm afraid I don't have a working antivirus at the moment, as my McAfee trial ran out and I can't afford to renew it.
I hope I'm not being annoying, I'm sorry if I am.
Many thanks.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, the rundll32 errors state that I don't have appropriate permissions... Hope this helps.
