| Vista home premium 64 bit | Re: Moving Documents In addition to what Dwarf has said, it may be an idea to use a separate drive. Moving documents from one partition to another does not achive much. If you use a seperate drive then you can also use it as a backup medium. Just my thoughts, personal choice. |

However, you could run into problems should the drive go offline for any reason or its drive letter gets changed if, for example, you make a new partition on your internal drive. For best results, this is really intended for use when you have a spare internal drive available. The best use for an external drive is as a backup medium, and for storing files which you have created/downloaded and which you don't want to lose. |
