Destination Access Folder Denied?

I have a similar question. I got a new computer recently, and I am trying to move some mp3 files from my old hard drive (running Windows XP) onto my new system (running Vista 64x). Currently I have my old hard drive plugged in via USB from a PocketBoy. I was able to locate the files, but when I try to move them, I keep getting a message prompting for permission. Then after 1 layer of security, I get another message telling me "Destination Access Folder Denied" "You need permission to access this folder"
Can anyone help me? Which setting do I need to change to allow the transfer?
Thanks for any help you can provide. My apologies if this thread is redundant.
