It has been reported that Vista 64-bit, Microsoft's next Windows release

Sorry to bust you out on this one, but this looks cut and pasted. Vista 64 is out, many of us are running it, and aren't experiencing. You suggest people to save their money on RAM, well the limitation of a 32 bit OS kinda nullifies that argument doesn't it? The only real determining factor at this point is hardware. If your hardware has 64 bit drivers, you'll find the switch to 64 bit isn't as scary as people thought in 2006. 64 bit is hardly overkill, it's where the technology is heading, and 32 bit is going to be the past once the fear subsides. Don't go scaring off people with nonsense. I applaud you for wanting to help new users, but this is hardly helpful.
