New old problem

Okay i was installing Norton internet security and it put this gadget in windows sidebar.
then a few days later it said that the Norton install was incomplete and it needed to be uninstalled and reinstalled. i did that.
since then windows sidebar has been mia
look around the forum today i pretty sure that when i uninstalled Norton it took the whole sidebar with it.
i looked in the windows assessory file and its not listed. i tried the elevated comand promt thing with the .dll file and that says "the module "c:\program files\windows sidebar\sbdrop.dll" failed to load. make sure binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent. dll files. the specific module could not be found.
even in the program files the only thing listed in the folder is gadgets and then in there is the norton gadget but no exe file for sidebar itself

if its a missing dll sfc /scannow might help

type it in elevated command prompt see if it finds anything

Did you use the Norton Uninstaller? If not, you are bound to have problems.
