WIn7 vs Vista IMO, er EYE's

So I installed WI7 RC, I'm not going to mention which build I use it's Ultimate.

That much I'll say. Runs all 8 GIGs of my Uber RAM Well I like it. It's not
expensive, and you need to know your BIOS well to get Optimal Performance with it, but if you do, and I do. It ROX. Fast as all get out .

So I'm just checking it out have it pre-ordered. Waiting on Oct is all.

But, then, lets get down to what I wanted to get at, Vista vs WIN7 RC.

Which is real close to what the final release will be. So having said that I conclude
that I love Vista still, but think I'll LOVE Win7 just as much,. However that doesn't mean that I like everything they did (they= MS Geeks). I don't care for how the wallpaper is hadled in Win7, it involves more steps to just do save a Wallpaper and W7 always wants to call everything a Theme. I don't like Themes, changing background auto pilot yada, yada. I like just what I like, I don't use any stock THEMES at all, and will delete them all. I make a ton of my own wallpapers, and this is FUN for this Monster. For example I made a few Stubbs Walls that I love and use a lot. As I like BRAINS!! Must have BRAINS!! Yum, Yum, BRAINS!!

I also get many from the WEB and my Buds like Muff1n. Think he needs another REP point now that I think of it, myself, could give a Rats A$$ about REP points. Ok that's not really true 100%, I'd like to have a few, but folks are stingy (sp?) with them. IMWHO.

Vista Boot time, not to impressed with, but is a slightly longer Boot time a big deal? I suppose if your in some big Damn hurry. which I never am. Life way to short to sweat the small stuff. Furthermore or Moreover which ever you Like.

Vista may just be thinking More. I have Vista w/sp2, it's improved a lot since it's introduction. That is not MHO, that is FACT, Jack. LOL 'Nuff Said.

One of the mod types here or at the sister Forum Win7, I get them mixed up easy. Anyhow I posted a little tiny thread about a Fee Poster, it was a JOKE, but apparently was not seen as such, Not sure? I can't find it for the Life of me. Is all I know. Then again anything I post here is lost in seconds, I'm surprised this is here while I typewrite. Love that Smiley, LOL!!

Ok Mr. Back to topic!! Blue to Blue. I'm really happy with Both. basiclly, they are very similar and very different in subtle ways. WAY no XP. Which is just Ducky with me, I'm so sick of reading folks cry about Vista and Saying XP is the one and ONLY OS tha MS ever made that ROX, SOOO NOT true. Period. Screw XP. He, Hee!!

That should ruffle some feathers. Maybe not??

Bottom line I'll always run what MS releases, good bad or indifferent. I run what they put out in the order in their releases, I get them all.

Enter Chrome Google OS. What??!! Don't know dork about it. But I use Google like a Madman. But then are they up to an OS?? That runs Games (PC) I mean will it run all my games about 200-300 of them, LOL!! Actually I have no idea, I have never counted them. Way to Lazy for such a task. So instead of giving a number I'll refer to the as a GANG of them. I think that fits well.

Yep I'm Excited about the final Release of 7. I like the Boot screen a lot, just says WINDOWS, nothing else. That's Brilliant, in and of itself. I dig the Balls that turn into the MS Logo to. it's actually fun to watch.

What I do miss about XP, is the Lets show the folks that something is Happening idea. With Vista that bar that fills, gets on my Nerves, I want a read out of the size, file name how big it is and the exact percentage I have completed, and exactly how much longer it will take. By now, MC OS's should be able to know what kind of ISP you use, Dial up all that, I don't need to know. I know what Damn speeds I should be getting. I surely know that it's High speed. From 1mg/s to 6mg/s and Higher or it can be hella slow as any Coonection speed we have is dependent on where we download from, the Servers speed is far more important thatn what my RIG is actually capable of. I've been to sites than download drivers for Example that are 35kb/s Iit doesn't matter if you have fiber Optics or whatevr, it's going to download as fast as the server will allow.

Ok That's it, if you made it this far without cheating, my hats off to YOU!!

Plenty of STUFF here to Comment on, but then that's up to YOU. I merely though it up, and see what happens. Most of the time, very little as I said everything here and at W7 forums are lost in Seconds.

    To bad.

Lost already, or nobody reads?? How come we have to have a List of how many times we edit our own posts anyhow??

Something I've always wondered about that every forum seems to do, it seems important that all know I edit my posts now and then, why?

I'll tell you why and it's always the same reason, Spelling and or Sentence Structure, ok. Never changes. Always edit for those reason, end of story, LOL

Well, I'm not sure why I read through the entire thing but I can't say you have a future in journalism. You and I share common ground in that I never use anything that comes with the computer as far as the desktop goes, so I think they would be better off having the default theme and having a site dedicated to custom user themes. It's inevitable that people are going to tinker with the GUI and whatnot with custom icons/wallpapers/window styles, so why doesn't microsoft support it? Let anyone's themes onto the site, but have a couple of reputable guys actually certifying which ones work without bugs. I don't love OSes, I love the stuff I do using them, so unless vista7 comes preinstalled with CS4 and windows games is replaced by steam, I'm just here for the free ride. It's sad, because Microsoft proved they got some great ideas, especially with xbox live. Why can't they put that thinking into their OS? They don't gotta make W7 open source, but the things they do support user interaction with, why not go all the way.

    Thanks KrossX n truthkid

Do you guys have a contest to see who can come up with the oddest User name here? LOL!!

I hear ya about the journalism stuff, as well. Is as well one word or two?

The stupid things I wonder about I could write a book about it. I won't torture you guys with a Damn Novel this time ok, just kick with a rep point or move along, ROLOL!!

    I freaking KILL MYSELF!!

MS puts more money into 360 sales than any department you guys know that. Come on. Win7 is their best yet, and still has a gang of crap, I could do without.

I'm a simple man with Simple needs, if the OS can game well, I'm in!!

Pretty much how I judge all OS's, well to a degree, but Gaming is my Uber Hobby.

PS GAMING, not a console UNIT in my home!! I hate them with a Passion.

Same thing with Game Pads, with the lame Sticks on them, mini joystick thingys.

    ACK!! RALPH!! P-UUUUUUUUUUUUU!!

As I said I end up deleting half the OS, anywho- I tweak it to Death.

Like a Respectable GEEK that I am. oh I'm running Win7 right now too.
It's like a NEW TOY to me!! Good thing I got Vista first. Those folks that were Nay Sayers about Vista will regret that, when they upgrade to WIN7.

    WIN7=VISTA SE.

So that's it for the Moment stand by...

For New Exciting Updates to my Thread.

I get the impression you talk to yourself in the real world. How can you hate consoles? Sure you can't upgrade the hardware, but you get a consistant experience whether you plan in the basement of a condemned taco bell or you're playing in your man cave. Crysis is a perfect example, the "game" was never meant to be played in minimum settings, then people would see it's just an average FPS that takes place in a sandbox level. Pump the graphics up and you see its a beautiful average FPS. You can't get consistant reviews if two people are seeing two different products. GTA IV for example, I've heard more horror stories about people playing it on PC, and can't say I've heard them on the consoles.

    Your Right truthkid~

Except for the man cave jazz and the me talking to myself stuff, In reality I don't hate anything I use that phrase very lightly. Consoles have their place, just not with me is all. I've been playing PC Games and building PC's for years. I've tried to use a game pad all that, even had a PS2 at one time. But I've never left the PC as my main Gaming Medium. Never will either. That about somes up what you had to say, I think.

    Just how it is.

You Have a Nice day Now.

My Thead is more of an experiment than anything anyway.

Se how folks think, etc. Now I know.

    Thanks Again.

Oh and don't forget to check off that auto aim box. Gotta love that feature.
