| Windows Vista Home Basic x32bit | Custom computer wont go to sleep mode? Hello, i have recently made a computer and installed vista, everything's great except my computer wont go into sleep mode: i click on it, monitor goes to standby for a few seconds, the lights dim in my computer for a second, then desktop comes up and all the things that are in my usb are temporarily disconnected then connects. any solutions or help would be appreciated. |

You might check through each item in this tutorial below to see if it may help you find what is waking up your computer. Usually, the culprit is the "Allow this device to wake up computer" option checked in the Network adapter Power Management settings in Device Manager. | Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Custom computer wont go to sleep mode? It looks like everything is spelled correctly. You might try again to see if there were any extra spaces that should not have been in the command by mistake. |
