uploading pics to Vista

Hello
I have a Nikon Coolpix2200 camera.

I have just changed my computer from XP to Vista
I now find that i can not transfer my photos from my camera to my
computer not one of the programmes will do it on Vista. All was fine with
XP.

The spec is Vista Home Basic 64 bit

If you plug the camera in, Vista should detect it and give you an option to 'open with explorer'. To transfer pics you can do it through an explorer window.

Hello willper,
The easiest and quickest way to solve your problem is to get a card reader, it will also be quicker than USB.
The other way is to re-install all the software you use. What program are you using to transfer the photo's ?.

Hello
I am using Nikon View to install- the program came with the camera. That program does not work now. I have tried to reintall Nikon View but I am unable to delete what is still there to reinstall.

I was going to suggest that you update your software but Nikon View is no longer available as confirmed by their site, (link below).

Current Versions of Nikon Software

I suspect thats it's not compatible with Vista x64.
There is a lot of software that will do the job though, do you use the RAW system ?.
