that is the icon for a mapped drive it is the correct icon,

but you should be able to change it by, right clicking on it and selecting properties, and than change icon.

Hm. I'm using the "Customize" tab, and then selecting "Choose File" under the "Folder pictures" grouping... When I provide the path to that DLL (and OK the dialog), nothing happens, and the icon doesn't change. Am I using the right tab?

Hm. Ok. It appears the reason why it's not showing up under C:\users is because that I moved it when I changed its location to the mapped drive. So it shows up under my personal Desktop folder but with the ugly mapped drive icon. WTF!

I should also note that the Music icon in the Links folder shows the pretty icon. Is there a way to move that to under my personal Desktop folder instead?

Have you tried the method posted above here to see if you could change the icon for that folder yet?

If I restore it, then it will ask me to move all my music from my mapped drive, correct? Then it's going to pull 400GB of data over... not exactly what I want. If I click no, it says that I will have two Music folders. Not what I want. So what do I do? :P

Test the Shell command (OPTION ONE) to see if that may open it, and also double check to make sure that the network location is correct (METHOD THREE - manual) in the registry for that.

Is the network drive connected?

I'm not sure what else to try either though. :(

shell:My Music brings it up. The music folder (and mapped drive) is "connected" it's just not allowing me to change the icon. I can't believe this is so difficult. I would think that lots of people map their music folder to a drive. :(
