It wont change! :(

    It wont change! :(

    I recently changed my color scheme in vista... and I cant switch back to normal when I goto apply it says please wait for a nano second but nothing happens! ive tried safe mode, nothing ive tried restarting.. nothing

    Apply any patches to uxtheme.dll recently?
    Also did you pick/try a default color scheme, or a custom one?

    Hello Antihiatus,

    What color scheme are you in now? If it is Windows Classic, then check to make sure that the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager Service is set as Started and Automatic.

    Plus, see if refreshing the WEI score may help.

    You would open the Services (click on this link) window and check to make sure that the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager service is set as Started and Automatic.

    Check your themes. It looks as though you have it set on one of the high-contrast options. Try an alternative theme.
