Hi
My computer has Vista Home Premium installed but about a couple of weeks ago my computer started to boot up slow (taking about 10 minutes). I couldn't figure out the problem and neither could anybody else so I am going to re-install vista.
Is it possible to re-install vista without losing any personal or program data?
Thanks

There is always a chance that something could go wrong and you could lose the data, but it is possible to upgrade Vista. Have you thoroughly scanned your pc with virus and anti-malware software both online and off?

Hi
I think i've tried everything because i've scanned my computer with about ten different programs (online and offline in safe mode), tried the repair option from the disc, tried restoring my computer from another point and turning off programs and services at start up. None of these working.

You may, also, want to use easy tranfer, to a flash drive. When done, you can reinstall if any problems.
