Safely Remove C:\

Hello All

My Vista 64 is always showing the safely remove hardware icon in the bottom right hand corner even though nothing foreign is plugged into my machine?! When i click on it to see the items in question it shows;

ST350063 0AS SCSI Disk Device
Disk drive
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S203D SCSI CdRom Device - (F)

The two items listed as disks are my C: and D: which contain my OS (C) and a bunch of other apps and things on (D)

Why would it show the safely remove hardware sign?

PS: Both drives are Simple Basic NTFS

Just read other posts on the same issue, if there is new info please reply otherwise you can ignore it.

HI Vee im sur there was a hot-fix for this issue as i remember i had this very same problem some years back, could be wrong but im sure SP1 fixed this issue also
for now until someone can point you to the hot-fix just ignore it as it has no effect on your day to day running of your pc

Have already installed SP2 and the issue persists. It gets on my nerves that's why i want it gone. I hate not knowing WHY something happens.
