Solved "Always use the selected program ...."

Does anyone know of a registry hack or other way to have the "Open With" pop-up
window by default never have a check mark in the box next to:

"Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".

The answer is: Yes

Here's what got the job done:


Open regedit.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer

If you can't find this key then make it.

In the right pane make a new DWORD value --- NoFileAssociate
Set its value to 1

Close regedit and check the result.
