Hey, well my Trust mouse wheel has just broken, i took a look at it and it seem like it is unfixable. So im looking for a new mouse, as i were looking around i saw a Microsoft mouse which offered 1000 PPI
DCS (Doncaster) Ltd. Online Store
and a SAITEK mouse which offers 3200 DPI
DCS (Doncaster) Ltd. Online Store
But i have no idea whether or not 1000 PPI is better then 3200 DPI. I did some Google searching and didnt find anything, so what is ppi? Does it even exist? Is it better? And Which mouse is better?

Thanks.

DPI or dots per inch technically is a measure of printer resolution but is in common
usage for other types of resolution - monitors, etc.

PPI is pixels per inch.

For this you could say DPI and PPI are the same.

Either resolution 1000 or 3200 would be good enough for me.
I would concern myself more with which felt better in my hand etc.

I think ile go for the 3200 DPI, i play Garrys mod and i heard that a high DPI is awesome for building and stuff.
