My Windows Installer Program is corrupt. When I try to access a program it says that "Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if Windows Installer is not correctly installed." What do I need to do to correct this problem? Please help.

msiexec command don't have these switchers both in Vista/Windows 7.Nothing happen if he will do -try yourself if you don't believe me -these switchers are appriopate for older systems.Type msiexec /? then will open window with ability switchers

Many things from this also impossible to make,check on Vista for example

Old_Security:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSIServer\Security
I don't have this key.I don't know even exist situations then this key appear in Vista.
METHOD TWO also seems difficult to relate to Vista.The article which you posted is very old 2005 year :sleepy: and concern very ancient systems NT 4.0/2000 and MS seems not interested it.

@Tom F
