What is this Right-click white button -- I can't work!

So vista has this white circle it throws up when I right-click, which is preventing me from performing crucial operations in software I use...

Is there a way to turn this off? And what does it think it's doing for me?

But mostly, how do I make it go away?

Thanks.

If those are white radiating circles, open up Control Panel, then look for the mouse properties option. Look through the tabs until you find an option that says "show location of mouse if I press right ctr"l. Clear the box.

I was very excited but that seems not to be the issue...

I found the box in the mouse options, already not checked.

No, when I right-click it throws a white circle, and sometimes opens the right-click menu. In one crucial app it seems that rt-click is blocked somehow.

Thanks, though... I suspect I should ask at forums for the app.

Oh...

I guess it's just a different way of interfacing. When it shows the white circle I have to select and drag it. Who knew?

You all might have... Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.
