Solved No cd-drive

I can't see my cd-drive in My Computer or device manager.
I could reinstall windows, because quite new computer, but because I do not have cd-drive visible...

Do you see any yellow triangle or red exclamation mark in Device Manager?
Is your CD drive visible in BIOS settings?

Strange... Do you have a driver? Did you install the driver? If not, I think that's the case here.

your cd drive should apear in your bios.
Check the cables.
Does the eject key work on the front?
Fill out your system spec. (click on user cp to do it)

To get drivers, first find out the manufacturer and model of your CD/DVD drive. You should then go to the manufacturer's website and search for the driver. I think that's the most effective way.

You can also go to your PC manufacturer's site to find the driver, if you did not build the PC yourself.

Usually, CD and DVD drives don't need drivers. They are automatically installed by Vista.
Don't waste time searching for drivers...
You could check cables (broken or detached).
