    Windows on a Mac?

I was recently given an old iBook, the problem is that it has no operating system installed. Is it possible to put some version of Windows on it?

I'm not real sure which one it is, I haven't really looked at it to much after I found out it didn't have an OS. I'm still undecided about putting Windows or Ubuntu on it, but I'm leaning more towards Windows just because it is a Mac. Thanks for helping, I'll let you know how it goes.

iBooks definitely don't have Intel CPUs. You need an Intel Mac to run Windows. Apple only started using Intel CPUs on Macs in 2006, and iBooks were from way before 2006. It is not possible to run Windows on an iBook. You need a Macbook.

The ibook uses a G3 processor.
As a test you can try installing linux then using wine as a vertual enviornment. I think this would be a slow way to do it though.

The best way to run another OS on an iBook would be trying VMware Fusion.
