"Access is Denied" - Logical Disk Manager

Today I went to shrink my C: drive so i could install Windows 7 Ultimate on a new disk partiton. I did all the steps in shrinking it, but then i get an error, the error is titled Logical Disk Manager and it says Acess is Denied... I ran ESET's Smart Security and also malwarebytes anti-malware virus scanners and my laptop is clean. But anyone knows whats up?
