PC won't shut down

For those of you that have had this nagging problem (PC won't shut down).

Try this: Go to your desktop press: Control/Alt/Delete - then Press "Log off". When your user name(Icon) appears, click on it. Then go to the shut down options in the lower right hand corner (the little red icons) and click on "log Off" and it should work.

I'm using Win Vista Ultimate 32 bit on this computer.

or you could change vista's default action for the shutdown button (hibernate) and change it to "shutdown" in power options ;)
