My computer updated automatically with no warning to me whatsoever...anyway, once it was finished and I tried to log back on, I got a message that My user profile could not be loaded. I got on with another account and in the settings see that my profile is listed as backup status and the other two are listed at local status. they both work with their passwords. However, my profile is the only Admin. profile and I can't make any changes! I can NOT lose the info listed in the old profile so deleting it is out of the question....I tried 2 different system restores as well. Please help! How do I change my status back to local and not backup???? I have Vista but I dont know what kind.....
