| Vista home premium 32bit | WMP with codec packs is a gamble. Try using VLC ( Download VLC Media Player 1.0.1 - FileHippo.com ). That has the appropriate codec built in and should work better. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 sp2, Solaris x64 | Hi Lil, Did you try to open the same movie in the Windows Media Center? How's the quality of the picture in WMC, did you try any other movie to play in WMP? Perhaps it's the quality of the downloaded movie you've got. |
