Hello,
I really want to be able to watch tv on my laptop. I have two Tuners here and would like to know what is best. I don't know what is going to fit or what will have the best reception. Or do you have a card you recommend?

Freeview DVB-T USB TV tuner w decode software for sale - TradeMe.co.nz - New Zealand
Brand New-Play TV Express Card for Notebook for sale - TradeMe.co.nz - New Zealand

I like the first one but the second one is cheaper.

I also want a usb hub. Here is the one i'm thinking of buying.
7 Port USB 2.0 Hub (7hub) for sale - TradeMe.co.nz - New Zealand

I just really need to know if I will be making a mistake with buying any of these or if there is anything you recommend.

I want the Tv tuner to just run off the little aerial it comes with, Without the need to plug it into the aerial on the roof.

Thanks in advance.;)

Hello Fastboy,

These two TV tuners are fine for what they do. The first one DVB-T USB is for watching digital TV and Radio stations, which you would use for the lappy and desktop computer. I think it's a little better than the second one, the digital broadcasting is the future of TV.
The second on, the TV Express Card tuner looks like it's for the analog TV and is for the notebooks with the Express Card slot, I think. That's hard to tell which one would be the best for you, I don't know in what system the TV stations broadcast the signal in New Zealand.

My guess is, do research in which system the TV stations you can reach and get one of these two tuners.
