disk drive help please

hello guys...
just have little bit problem hope it not big issue...
i just put disk into my laptop it anit reading it ...
but also when i go to my compter theres no icon or sign of my cd drive showing ?:huh:
why could this be its not showing in my compter ?

mine started doing the same thing after a windows update. the only thing i found that works is to open the tray during boot, then after windows loads, the drive magically appears in "my computer" again.
i think it has something to do with microsoft disabling auto-play on removable drives. lets hope they fix it.
