| Vista Home Premium 64bit | a fairly easy question hopefullly :) hi everyone, i just have an easy question about turning off my laptop when i turn off my laptop i find it easier to just press the power button then to hit start and all (God im lazy)...it still goes into the whole windows thing where it says logging off and shutting down and when i turn it back on i dont get any kind of a blue screen or anything, it just starts back up regularly...now i just wanted to know wheter it is bad to do this, now keep in mind i am not holding down the power button so that it just turns off with out some kind of shutting down sequence because i know that is bad for it. |

| Home Premium 32 bit | hi everyone, i just have an easy question about turning off my laptop when i turn off my laptop i find it easier to just press the power button then to hit start and all (God im lazy)...it still goes into the whole windows thing where it says logging off and shutting down and when i turn it back on i dont get any kind of a blue screen or anything, it just starts back up regularly...now i just wanted to know wheter it is bad to do this, now keep in mind i am not holding down the power button so that it just turns off with out some kind of shutting down sequence because i know that is bad for it. I think it is better to shut down using the start/shutdown etc, then You know for sure Your sytem is shut down and not idleing and wasting battery or electricity. Its only a few clicks,it's not going to slow Your life down too much. See Ya William. |

| Vista Home Premium SP2 32bit / Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit | I don't know if there is anything in the Tutorial section but I believe you can put a shortcut on your desktop that when pressed does the job of shutdown without having to go to the Start Orb. |
