| Vista Home Basic | Disc read error in vista Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me with this problem I have. Please excuse my poor knowledge regarding this matter, im a noob. I got hold of a printer and I accidentally placed a printer software disc into my laptop (for drivers etc). The disc, i found out, was for an XP OS, not vista. Now Im getting : A DISC READ ERROR OCCURRED, PLEASE PRESS CRTL+ALT+DEL TO RESTART It will allow me to reach the point where i can get into the bios vis F2, but that is all.... Any ideas? All help will be most appreciated, thank you very much |

| Windows 7 | Check the connection of your hard drive. remove your hard disk from your computer and connect it again. keep us informed  |
