I tried posting this in a XP Forum with no responses, Hoping I have better luck here. I would like to set up a RAID 1 (mirror) on my Dell Desktop. I bought a WD 750 Gig hard Drive with a 32 MB cache (original HD is a WD 160 Gig with 8 MB cache).
There is a thin blue wire that goes to the mother board that I would need to get a extension for, What is this wire called and what type of extension would I need.
What would work better Hardware or software RAID controller? recommendations on where to get them?
