| Vista Ultimate x64 | Wont time sync even tho keeps time Im in vista 64 bit. I was trying to install a licence for Cubase and was getting a time, calendar error. I look and everything is on time to the second hand on my wall. But for the hell of it, I tryed syncing it to all the availible servers but got: "An error occured while Windows was synchronizing with whatever.server" However I can ping the servers in comand prompt. And also, like the topic says, It still keeps perfect time. It set it's own time. So Im clueless. A bios thing perhaps? Any suggestions appreciated Thanks Last edited by hogie3; 08-20-2009 at 07:14 PM.. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Hello Hogie, You might see if these may help any. I would see if using a different time server may help first though. Internet Time Synchronization and Internet Time Synchronization Update Interval Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Windows Vista Enterprise x64 SP2 | If you're using a third party firewall, temporarily stop it to see if UDP port 123 is being blocked. Also, go to your Internet Time Settings and try pinging the listed time server. If that fails, there are a many time servers to use. (pool.ntp.org, time-a.nist.gov, time-b.nist.gov, time-a.timefreq.bldrdoc.gov, time-b.timefreq.bldrdoc.gov) |
