Want old Explorer folders back!

I am a new Vista user, and OMG I hate the new folder icons! Actually, I hate the Windows Explorer and the way it works, esp. how small the indent is for sub-directories.

Is there any way I can get back to the look & feel of the XP Explorer, or at least get the XP folder icons under Vista ?

Thanks!!

I took the time to give you snap shots to show you how simple Vista's nagivation is compared to XP.
After a short while you will find that the nagivation in Vista is far superior to that of XP - as to reverting - I haven't a clue, because I realized (in a short time) that Vista is better at navigating folders than XP.

Thank you for your reply and the time you took!

After doing some research and learning about Vista's "breadcrumb bar", I agree that navigation in Vista is excellent, and I therefore withdraw my question about that.

However, I still hate the skinny folder icons, as well as the very small horizontal indent from one sub-directory to another. I know that I can port over the old folder icon from XP, but I know of no way to do a universal replace, nor do I know of any way to change the horizontal indent spacing. Therefore, I am just giving up on that and biting the Vista bullet with a forced smile.

Thanks again!
