You joined today and both posts were abt icon spacing, etc. You haven't even waited to see if someone might have a way. If the icon spacing is THE most important thing to you maybe XP is for you. There are way more important things abt an OS than aspects of the GUI. Oh and BTWd there is a way to do it. Try Google

Still the same way with xp ....

Right click the desktop .....click ...view ....

Play around ....until you get the way you like ...

For spacing....Turn off auto-align ..if you want customize.

Or click ... property ....do some tweaks in there ....

Here is some resource for you ..:

I've been trying to overcome this deficiency for months. You're right that someone should have come up with a fix for Microsoft's goof.

I see the Microsoft spin doctors are upset about my exposing this screwup. They're scratching like cats trying to cover uo their mess.
I've heard that Microsoft is giving up on Vista. Maybe I will too.

Bud

Im not in any way (other than using their software) associated with M$ and not even a regular here so I have no vested interest in Vista. In fact Im not even running it, but if you are not happy with vista and have said so in 5 posts now maybe xp is for you.

Me Im 10-7
