Try closing and opening your screen when this happens, this is like turning the screen off and then on again.

When you boot from the disc, it doesn't prompt anything, it just loads and goes black?

Do you have another monitor lying around to try hooking it up?

umm, well i have my desktop monitor ,is that ok ??

Yes, see if you can hook it up to your laptop, and try it. Connect it before you boot up. Also, when it goes black, try disconnecting it and connecting it again.

maybe its cause for an windows update? is theres anything i can download like recovery for vista or somthing ? and put it in my flash, and boot it in my laptop

I believe the issue is with the video driver - each time Windows loads files (drivers amongst them), the screen goes black. The thing is, Safe Mode should work, because it doesn't rely on components that could cause issues. And the Recovery Disc moreover, because even if the system files are corrupt, it relies on files safely stored on the disc - that can't get corrupted.

That's where I get stumped... For now, the only thing I can think of is trying to wait a little longer, and hope that Windows is doing something and you just have to wait (I wouldn't wait more than 15 minutes... That should be more than enough for it to do any update or anything similar). Or try another Recovery Disc, in case something might be bad with the one you have (it's downloadable too, but I really don't think it's a disc issue...)

I can continue searching the nets, but I really need to take a break from my LCD screen (my eyes hurt). I plan to get back to this thread.

OK, I don't know if you're still looking at this thread, but I remembered that there was a thread I promised to look back and forgot about...

So I really can't figure out what the issue can be. But I do have some experience in clean installing, which should solve pretty much any software issue. Let me know if you got it fixed, or if you want to try a clean install. Sorry for the very late reply, better late than never right?

lol i havnt forget, and no i havnt fix my laptop yet, im aculty using my brother laptop, i was looking in the internet for solution but havnt get anything, so teach the clean install thing, and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REPLYING :)

Here's the best guide I've found so far on how to clean install.

Basically, you'll need an install disc. If you know anyone who bought Vista with a disc, that's good. Otherwise, you'll need to download it via BitTorrent, that's how I did - btw, downloading the anytime upgrade disc is not a legal problem (that's just an unactivated Vista installation). Stealing product keys is (that's the activation). In your case, you'll need to either use the key on the sticker on your laptop, or call up Microsoft and explain the situation and why they need to give you a new key - whichever works first.

I personally didn't manage to boot from the disc after I had wiped the hard drive, so I needed to install XP first (any Windows environment will do even if it's unactivated), and run the dvd from inside XP.

Other than that, it's all there, and if you run into any problems, let me know. I've done this four times on my HP Pavilion.

Sorry about taking so long. First try a seafe boot (hit F8 repeadly) while booting. does it work or not?
\\
then boot into BIOS (F12) and where it says enter set up see if there is a bios reset somewhere there.
