Help!!!

There are websites that i visit that dont work right and i dont know if it is Vista or just my computer.

I just got this computer, it is brand new. My old computer had XP.

There is a site called BabyCenter.com. When i comment in the forums, it wont let me change my font size, color or anything. I could do all of that on XP.

And when i go to game websites like playtopia.com, the game will load, but it wont show up.

Is this Vista doing this, and if so how can i fix it??

We could help faster if you were to fill in your system specs (lower left corner) so we know what hware you have. We could also use what browser? 32bit or 64? clean install? etc

i have vista home basic. 32bit. i am using Google chrome as my browser. I am not sure what other info you need. I am not that great with the computer. Sorry if i am dumb, lol.

i always do all the updates. including the windows service pack. and my java is up to date.

Insalling the latest might help. Follow direction on page.

You are not dumb, we all were new at vista at some point. to test java goto the website (in the link) and it will tell you. Im wondering if something is broken in chrome. could you try it with internet explorer? also what antivirus, and firewall are you running?

i think it is chrome. i tried to play on my old computer on chrome and it is doing the same thing. it works with firefox. does anyone have a good browser besides firefox or internet explorer? I like google chrome but i want to be able to use it, ya know.

Hey no problem now that we know its chrome we can work on fixing it. What version of chrome is it?

Im sorry Im doing two different forums (vista and win 7) at the same time. to find out what version of chrome there is a help menu that probably has an about chrome tab. I dont have it installed so im just guessing. check on the menu and see if you can find it. Maybe someone here will be able to tell you

it is google chrome. i played on internet explorer just now. so that sucks, cuz i really like chrome. now i gotta find another browser
