Alright I have had several problems lately with installing and setups of games and programs. Lately when I try to install a game, the install shield will start, show the picture or logo of a company while it prepares the installshield and the actual installshield never appears. I go to task manager and sure enough, setup.exe install shield is running in the processes. Then it becomes even more strange.
The program or game will actually install still, (not always, but sometimes) For example, I was reinstalling a game Planescape Torment on my computer, the same problem happend, but after I waited a short time, the game was installed. Most of the time though, I cant install games or programs becuase of this. I also get alot of problems when opening some installs where the setup.exe has encountered a problem and had to close. Between these two problems I am stumped on how to solve it.
Also. Im on a Toshiba Qosmio x305-701
