Hi guys Im having a bit of trouble with this pc hope someone can help. The thing is Im reparing this for my friend because he used to have Vista Home Premium x86 and no Antivirus (smart move
) so hes HD was full of virus.
Anyway I backed up the info he wanted, formated the HD and installed a fresh copy of Vista Ultimate x64.
Now the thing is the KEYBOARD AND LEFT CLICK (THE BUTTON AND TAP FUNCTION) ARE NOT WORKING. I tried checking Control Panel, everything in order. Then went to device manager, both appear as "working properly". Uninstalled/reinstalled from there and nothing. Downloaded the "updates" for vista from the sony webpage but theyre only for x86. Installed the synaptics x64 software for the mouse, it shows the right button as if it was pressed all the time. Did a little test to ensure that for some reason they werent damaged so I tried to enter the Bios. On the Bios the keyboard worked fine. So right now I have no idea on what to do, could this be that the keyboard and mouse arent x64 capable? plz I need help
